Honey Wheat Bread

Ingredients

Yield: 1 Loaf

  • 175g Wheat Flour
  • 300g All-purpose Flour
  • 8g Salt
  • 150g Water
  • 100g Milk
  • 6g Yeast
  • 100g Brown Sugar
  • 40g Honey
  • 1/4 Stick melted butter

Directions

1. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

2. Combine milk, brown sugar, honey in a separate bowl.

3. combine remaining water and yeast. Let yeast proof for 10 minutes.

4. Slowly add flour mixture to liquid mixture.

5. Knead for at least 10 minutes.

6. Put dough in a coated bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let rise until doubled in size.

7. Split loaves.

8. Form into loaves the same size as loaf pans.

9. Coat loaf pans and place dough into them.

10. Cover with a damp towel and let rise until about 1" above the top of the pan.

11. Bake at 365 degrees F for about 35 minutes.
