Jambalaya

Ingredients

Yield: X

  • 1 lb cubed chicken
  • 1 lb andouille sausage, sliced
  • 28 oz diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 lb cooked shrimp without tails
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce

Directions

1. In a slow cooker, combine everything except the shrimp.

2. Cover and cook for 7 hours on low.

3. Add shrimp and cook for an additional hour.
