Ingredients
Yield: 8 Pretzels
- 10g Instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg yolk
Directions
1. Dissolve yeast, salt, and sugar in warm water.
2. Slowly add flour to form a dough.
3. Knead for 5 minutes.
4. Place in covered bowl and let rise until double in size.
5. Divide into 8 equal pieces.
6. Roll each into a rope and twist into pretzel shape.
7. Mix egg yolk with 1 Tbsp water and brush over pretzels.
8. Salt pretzels and bake at 375 F until golden brown.
